Beepo is provided by The Friendly AI Co. This page explains the information used by the Beepo website, parent dashboard, and voice app.

Your account and linked devices

Clerk handles account registration and sign-in. Your account can include your email address, name, and profile image, including information supplied when you sign in with Google. Beepo links devices to your account and keeps device identifiers, activity timestamps, and conversation usage totals so you can manage them in the parent dashboard.

Voice conversations

When you start a conversation and allow microphone access, your audio is sent to the services that provide Beepo’s speech recognition, AI responses, and spoken replies. Conversation records and summaries are associated with your account for the parent dashboard. Avoid sharing addresses, passwords, or other sensitive personal information in a conversation.

Services that help run Beepo

Beepo uses Clerk for sign-in, Firebase for account and device records, Amazon Web Services for stored conversation information, Agora for voice communication, and Vercel for website hosting. Agora’s speech recognition, OpenAI’s language model, and ElevenLabs’ speech generation process conversation content to respond to you.

Browser storage and analytics

Cookies and browser storage keep accounts signed in and remember linked devices. Beepo uses PostHog to collect page views and product usage events. These events can include browser, device, and page information. Clearing browser storage can disconnect a linked device and require you to sign in again.

Parents and privacy requests

Parents can view linked devices and available conversation history in the dashboard. Removing a device stops its access; it does not delete its existing conversation history.
